GGMM 2011 3D Printed Trophy

The past week I went to the 2011 edition of the GGMM meeting. At this occasion, the organizing comity asked the RPBS platform to 3d print a trophy for prices and invited speakers.

This year the GGMM (Groupe Graphisme et Modélisation Moléculaire) was a real pleasant time. I was impressed by the quality of the lectures and the sympathy of the people. This meeting was the occasion to present the context of a bioinformatics platform in France and the services we propose at RPBS.

As I already introduced, it was also the occasion for the platform to demonstrate how 3D printed molecules look like. Alex Tek from Marc Baaden's group designed a trophy for the meeting and we have printed it. After a few days of hard work, this is how the whole family appeared:
